Tania Grijalva

Tania Grijalva is a Chemical Engineer by the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid (Spain), with a major in Energy, Oil and Gas. She has 15 years of experience in the Renewable sector, 12 of them in electric energy production. She knows very well all the phases of this kind of projects: development, promotion, planning, purchasing, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance; and therefore Tania is an excellent analyst and contract manager as she has broad project execution knowledge. She is Black Belt in Six Sigma & Lean certified by AEC. Continuous improvement, efficiency and change management are present in all the projects she undertakes.

Alongside her career, Tania has worked in multicultural projects in different renewables industries such as biodiesel, energy from waste and thermosolar plants. She still plays an active Background in the Spanish Association for Quality, where she holds the position of operational excellence commission vice-president, boosting operational excellence as a driver of competitiveness.

Before joining Torreso, she worked at SENER as Business Developer; and previously at Isolux as Commissioning and Start-up Manager and at Lurgi as Project and Process Engineer.

Tania holds a Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid and a Six Sigma Black Belt certified from Spanish Association for Quality. Tania speaks fluent English and Spanish and basic professional German.
