Almudena García Calle

Almudena has an active role in the Neucom M&A Services Division, supports Project Management teams and provides a general and strategic advisory to the Company. She brings Neucom her experience as M&A Advisor and Consultant after having worked for several years at Goldman Sachs and other American Investment Banks and Private Equity Firms and leading her own M&A boutique.

Almudena García Calle coordinates her activity at Neucom with her position as partner of Aboo Partners, where she heads the Corporate Finance and the Financial Advisory Services Divisions, leading the execution of domestic and international M&A mandates and advising clients in their search for equity and debt partners.

Almudena has an over 25 year combined experience in Investment Banking and Private Equity. She started her career in 1996 at Godman Sachs in the London M&A and Corporate Finance Department advising large corporations. She specialized in Spanish and Latin American transactions, participating in sell and buy side, Equity and other financing transactions in the Telecommunications and Media, Energy & Power and Real Estate sectors among others.

In 2000, she joined Goetzpartners (Communications Equity Associates / Regent), Investment Bank focused on the Telecommunications, Media and Technology sectors, leading the Spanish M&A team. Almudena worked at Goetzpartners for over 7 years as Excecutive Director moving in 2007 to the Private Equity Fund, Monitor Capital Private Equity as Investment Director.

Almudena has led the negotiations of over 30 international transactions towards a successful closing alongside her career.

A Spanish national, Almudena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a major in Finance from ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas) where she graduated in 1997 with Premio Extraordinario Mention (Prize awarded to the most outstanding graduate in Economics and Business Administration). She studied in Madrid and Paris (ESSEC). Almudena speaks fluent English and French.
