CONTRACT MANAGER AND PROJECT RISK ANALYST

Consulting company specialized in contract and claim management founded in 2016, with constant growth and working in remarkable international construction projects in several areas (renewables, infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, etc), providing services mainly for EPC Contractors but also for owners, investors, and main subcontractors.

JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be assigned to a task force assisting senior contract managers, participating in several ongoing international projects, and at the same time receiving contract management training in several different areas. We are seeking an eager, motivated engineer to join our growing and value-added oriented organization. In this position, you will be given the unique opportunity to gain the knowledge and experience required for promotion and to become a senior contract manager. The ideal candidate will be open to learning new things, not afraid to take chances, problem solving oriented and interested in learning every aspect of construction project lifecycle and Dispute Resolution processes. There is also the possibility to be internationally located in an ongoing project (we are currently working in four different continents).

As Contract Manager your main tasks will be to:

• Analyze Contracts and Participate in Project Risk Analysis.
• Project Updates with Clients and Main Subcontractors.
• Drafting project letters, claims, variations and reports.
• Support project risk and opportunity identification and analysis Establishment and implementation of project specific contractual procedures, particularly regarding claims, insurance, variation orders, correspondence and notifications.
• Other ancillary contract management tasks as well as providing general support to Sr. team members, including reporting, data-entry, presentation creation, strategic planning, customer service as needed.
• Support the elaboration and follow-up of supply and subcontractors’ contracts in order to make sure that back-to-back is made and all obligations are fulfilled.
• Ensure proper notices are given in line with contractual requirements.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Engineering degree – MSc Engineering Degree.
Spanish and English C level, other languages shall be positively valued (specially French or German).
Good interpersonal and strong communication skills with a willingness to challenge others and working as a team player. Good listener. A self-confident individual with a strong personality and ability to meet tight deadline and have an analytical mind.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Sharepoint / data bases.
Motivated toward career growth and learning.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Previous experience: not required, although construction or engineering previous experience shall be positively valued.
